On Monday, it emerged that NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen had been involved in an altercation outside a Malibu, Calif. restaurant over the weekend. The other person involved in the altercation had to be taken to the hospital, according to the report, while Pippen left the scene before speaking to police.

Some time on Monday, Pippen did talk with police, TMZ reports. The outlet initially reported that Pippen had been arrested, but eventually corrected that information to say that police had decided against it.

The other person involved in the altercation was simply an autograph-seeker who had approached Pippen, according to TMZ. The report states that Pippen knocked the man out after Pippen “punched him in the face and kicked him repeatedly.”

A later update states that the man suffered broken teeth and injuries to his head and back. Check out a photo of the man being loaded into an ambulance after the altercation in the image below.
