Tuukka Rask, Bruins Dropping Own Version of ‘Steel Curtain’ Defense on Pittsburgh As Series Shifts Home (Video)

The Penguins were supposed to have the high-powered offense in this series, but it has been the Bruins providing the fireworks so far.

Boston has dominated Pittsburgh through the first two games of the Eastern Conference finals, and the most impressive part of it all might be the fact those performances both came on the road. Now, as the series shifts back to Boston, the B’s are riding high and probably have fans thinking about the possibility of not even needing to go back to the CONSOL Energy Center.

Tuukka Rask has stopped 55 of 56 shots during the two games and, along with the Bruins defense, has done a splendid job of stopping the Pens. That’s why Rask is our “Steel Curtain” player of the game. Who’s yours?
