Umpire Ejects Mike Aviles After Game Ends, Terry Francona Goes Nuts on Ump Crew (Video)

An umpire thought he got the last laugh on Tuesday night, but the joke was on him.

Home plate ump Tony Randazzo, after horribly botching a call just a couple pitches earlier, tossed Mike Aviles out of the Indians-Yankees game on Tuesday night. Or did he? Randazzo ejected Aviles, alright, but it came after the third out of the top of the ninth inning as Mariano Rivera and the Yanks were celebrating the win.

That’s right, Randazzo ejected a player after a game was over.

Manager Terry Francona made sure Randazzo and his crew heard his thoughts on the matter as seen in the video below.
