The Stanley Cup Final between the Bruins and Blackhawks has not been quite as “angry” a series as Boston’s matchup with the Penguins in the Eastern Conference finals, but you wouldn’t know it by watching the final minute of Monday’s Game 3.

With barely 10 seconds remaining in the third period, Zdeno Chara and Bryan Bickell began exchanging shoves in front of B’s goalie Tuukka Rask. The confrontation escalated quickly, with Chara wrestling the Blackhawks winger to the ice and landing a few solid rights.

Brad Marchand and Andrew Shaw, the teams’ respective agitators, didn’t pass up a chance to put on the foil, breaking off from the pack to engage in a bout of their own. All four were sent to the box, but the penalties were merely symbolic, as the Bruins skated off with a 2-0 win — and a 2-1 series lead — seconds later.
