Winning a PGA Tour event is always impressive, but the feat becomes even more so when the winner also happens to be a teenager.

Jordan Spieth, who will celebrate his 20th birthday at the end of this month, tied for the lead after sinking a shot on the 18th hole at the John Deere Classic. Spieth then defeated David Hearn and Zach Johnson on the fifth hole of a playoff to capture his first ever win at a PGA Tour event.

With the victory, the 19-year-old becomes the youngest winner on the PGA Tour in 82 years. Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson all earned their first wins at the age of 20.

The win qualifies Spieth for the British Open, which will begin Thursday, as well as next year’s Masters.
