AlabamaThe SEC is arguably the toughest conference in football. But when it comes to competition between the 14 schools, the contest doesn’t stop once the players leave the field.

The University of Alabama has taken the rivalry to a new level.

The football department recently shelled out $9 million to completely overhaul and redo the football facilities in hopes of attracting the country’s best players to the university. The space is no longer just a locker room — it is a personal getaway.

The locker room includes hot tubs the size of pools, an arcade, lecture hall-sized meeting rooms, pool tables, names in lights and more TVs than anyone can count on their hands. But perhaps the most enticing aspect of this new locker room is the hallway, lined with jerseys of former Bama players who were NFL first-round picks. Either way, this $9 million investment seems ready to pay itself off very quickly.
