Apparently, Wimbledon wasn’t the only pro tennis tournament being played the past week. There was also the Nielsen Tennis Pro Championship in Winnetka, Ill., and it produced one of the strangest ends to a match, ever.

Alex Bogomolov Jr. was in the midst of a long rally with his opponent, Bradley Klahn, when a fan seemingly shouted that a ball was out. So, Bogomolov Jr. stopped playing the point, but the chair umpire and the line judge saw the ball hit off the line and called it good.

Bogomolov Jr. was upset with the call, but he remained calm and talked about what just happened with the chair umpire. When he was informed that the call would remain the same, he politely shook the chair umpire’s hand and retired from the match.

He went on to take his shirt off and shake his opponent’s hand before leaving the court. He did direct an expletive toward the chair umpire before officially leaving.

Check out this bizarre ending in the video below. Warning, though, Bogomolov’s expletive is audible in the video.
