Alfonzo Dennard, Terry DoughertyThe Patriots are filling the headlines Wednesday, and none of the news will be football-related. Bill Belichick is holding a press conference, Aaron Hernandez is due in court and Alfonzo Dennard got an update on his probation hearing.

Dennard will return to court Aug. 27 to find out if he violated probation when he was arrested on suspicion of DUI, according to the Lincoln Journal Star. He is free to travel to New England for training camp, which starts Friday.

Dennard was pulled over July 11 after police said his car was straddling lines. He refused a chemical test at the scene and blew too softly into a breathalyzer after being taken to detox, according to police.
