The Red Sox announced two more moves Wednesday as they continue to shake up their roster based on team needs. Allen Webster and Alfredo Aceves have been optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket, while Steven Wright and Pedro Beato have been recalled.

Webster was lit up in Seattle on Tuesday. He surrendered seven runs on six hits in 2 1/3 innings, elevating his season ERA to 9.57 (28 earned runs in 26 1/3 innings) over six starts.

Aceves, who has been up and down between Boston and Pawtucket all season, pitched two thirds of an inning Tuesday and allowed one hit. He is 4-1 with a 4.86 ERA in 11 games (six starts) with the Red Sox this season.

Wright rejoins the Red Sox for his second big-league stint of 2013. The 28-year-old made his major league debut for Boston on April 23. He is 4-5 with a 3.81 ERA in 16 starts with Pawtucket this season, and he currently holds a 17 2/3 scoreless inning streak for the PawSox.

Beato, 28, joins Boston for the third time this season. He has made three scoreless relief appearances with the Red Sox, and he is 5-3 with a 2.18 ERA in 25 games with the PawSox.

Manager John Farrell indicated Wednesday that Wright and the recently called up Brandon Workman are candidates to start Sunday’s game in Oakland.
