The Bruins retained one of their top minor leaguers on Monday, signing Carter Camper to a one-year, two-way contract.

The 25-year-old center tallied 10 goals and 37 assists for Providence this season, ranking second on the team in both assists and points. He added a team-leading eight goals to go along with five assists during the P-Bruins’ Calder Cup playoff run, which ended in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Camper did not see time in the NHL this season, but he appeared in three games for the Bruins during the 2011-12 campaign, tallying one goal. He will likely begin the 2013-14 season in Providence.
