Bruins to Open Training Camp Sept. 11, Preseason Game Schedule Begins Sept. 16 at Montreal

Tuukka RaskThe Bruins’ short summer will be over before you know it.

The club released its 2013 preseason schedule Tuesday and coincidentally, they will open their exhibition slate two months from Tuesday. Training camp will open Sept. 11, and the Bruins will drop the puck on their first preseason game on Sept. 16 in Montreal.

The club’s first home game of the preseason will be played Sept. 19 at TD Garden against the Detroit Red Wings.

Bruins rookie camp will open a week ahead of training camp with that getting under way Sept. 3. The youngsters will eventually head south for a rookie tournament that will begin Sept. 6 in Coral Springs, Fla.

Sept. 16 at Montreal
Sept. 17 at Washington (in Baltimore, Md.)
Sept. 19 versus Detroit
Sept. 21 at Detroit
Sept. 23 versus Washington
Sept. 26 at Winnipeg
Sept. 27 at Winnipeg (in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan)
