David Beckham has been in the public eye for so long, many think they know all there is to know about him. The public will test that theory later this year.

Beckham will partner with U.K.-based Headline Publishing Group to produce a new autobiography — his fourth. It is expected to be released Oct. 31, according to Reuters.

“David Beckham is, without a doubt, the most universally recognized and popular sports person on the planet, and this gorgeous book will be a superb way for his millions of fans around the world to celebrate David’s remarkable achievements within football,” Headline’s non-fiction publishing director, Jonathan Taylor, said.

The forthcoming autobiography will be a “personal celebration of his playing days,” the publisher reportedly said.

Beckham, 38, retired from professional soccer in May after helping Paris Saint-Germain win the Ligue 1 (French first division) title.

The former England captain has kept busy so far in his post-playing days. He parlayed his enduring celebrity into business opportunities, which he has pursued from Miami to China and any number of points in between.
