David Beckham’s Best Goals, Hair, Highlights Recreated With Legos (Video)

As the first global soccer celebrity, David Beckham‘s career played out right before our eyes.

We saw that goal he scored for Manchester United against Wimbledon in 1996 — the one from inside his own half. We saw him wave a tearful goodbye to the game after winning the Ligue 1 (French first division) title in May. We saw everything that happened in between.

But we’ve never seen Beckham’s career like this. The former England captain’s storied, 20-year-career has been immortalized in Legos and animated for our enjoyment.

His many high points appear in the video, as well as some of his lows. While the creators seemed to forget about his stints with Real Madrid and the Los Angeles Galaxy, they covered the best of his Manchester United and England days. They nailed some of his early hairstyle, too.
