BEHIND THE SCENES: On the last day of the homestand against the San Diego Padres before heading West for the Angels-Mariners-A’s series, NESN’s Red Sox broadcast team, Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy, took time out to record a special West Coast Road Trip Sweepstakes commercial.
The duo were having a lot of fun ad-libbing the script and being themselves, and they had the crew in stitches in this 60-second commercial.
The promotion will send two separate winners and a guest on a three-day, two-night experience with Don and Jerry the week of August 19. One winner will go to Los Angeles for the series with the Dodgers and another to San Francisco to see the Sox take on the defending World Series champion Giants.
