With heavy news hitting the baseball world on Monday, one creative YouTube user reminded fans that America’s pastime still has its fun moments.
Adrian Beltre and Elvis Andrus have arguably the most entertaining relationship on the field as their friendship is filled with pranks, death stares and driving the other crazy. Despite scaring Rangers fans with their in-game hobby, the Texas infielders enjoy faking the other out during routine infield pop-ups, and Andrus loves nothing more than touching Beltre’s head — something the third basemen really hates as demonstrated by his dramatic reactions.
With so many endearing moments between the Texas tandem, it seems only fitting that their on-the-field encounters have been compiled into a YouTube video set to the song that captures them best, “Best Friend” by Harry Nilsson.
