Sometimes, when you find the right person, you just want to shout it from the rooftops and tell the whole world.
It’s all well and good to share your joy — unless you are an NBA team during the free agency period. Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey was so excited he just couldn’t contain himself after Dwight Howard officially announced he had chosen to sign with the Rockets. Morey took to Twitter to welcome the newest member of his team.

Morey also went on Comcast Sportsnet Houston on July 5 Â to talk about Howard’s decision.
But the NBA got wind of Morey’s chatter and brought the Rockets back down to earth by slapping the team with a $150,000 fine for making unauthorized public comments about the deal during the league’s moratorium period, according to USA Today.
While Howard’s decision was made public on his Twitter account on July 5, per league rules, teams are not allowed to complete deals or talk about potential deals from July 1 (the start of free agency) to July 10.
The Rockets were also fined in June for tampering after a story on the official team website talked about players who were still under contract with other teams and were expected to be free agents in July.
