What do Denzel Washington, Shania Twain and Carmen Electra have in common? Just ask the Cleveland Indians.
While in Minnesota for a three-game series against the Twins this weekend, the Tribe’s rooming list was accidentally put into the hands of a regular guest, and before too long, all of the creative pseudonyms that the players use on the road were made public information.
Jake Taylor, catcher for the Indians in Major League makes an appearance on the hotel list, along with Jennifer Lopez, Dick Tracy and even Tar Zann leaves the jungle to travel with the team.
Not all of the Indians on the 40-man roster use fake names, but some of the most famous ones do such as Nick Swisher, Michael Bourn, Mark Reynolds, Jason Giambi, Justin Masterson and Carlos Santana — which means it’s anyone’s guess as to which star likes to go by J.Lo on the road.
