Brandon Workman dazzled Red Sox fans in Oakland for seven innings Sunday. The rookie flirted with a no-hitter and showed just why the Red Sox see him as a piece in their puzzle.

The right-hander gave up just the two runs on two hits while striking out five and walking one in 6 1/3 innings. It was an impressive outing for Workman, who made his major league debut in Seattle on Wednesday.
