John Lackey Keeps Rolling, Continues to Feel ‘In Sync’ on Mound for Red Sox (Video)

If there are any John Lackey doubters remaining, the big right-hander silenced them once again Tuesday night.

Lackey was brilliant for the Red Sox, allowing a run on six hits and a walk over a season-high eight innings against the Padres. Koji Uehara sat San Diego down in order in the ninth, allowing Lackey to pick up his third win in his last four starts.

It was the fourth straight stellar start for Lackey, who has not allowed more than two runs in an outing since June 10. He has also dialed in his control over that span, striking out 27 batters while walking just three.

Check out the video above to hear what Lackey’s catcher, Jarrod Saltalamacchia, had to say after Tuesday’s win.
