Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol are moving on — together.

Moments after Dwight Howard tweeted that he would be signing with the Houston Rockets, his former teammates with the Los Angeles Lakers cut ties in a very 2013 way. Bryant and Gasol unfollowed the center on Twitter.

Bryant went one step further by flaunting his bromance with Gasol in an Instagram picture. Bryant tagged the photo “#vamos #juntos #lakercorazon #vino.”

The Lakers may not miss Howard much. They finished the 2012-13 season in seventh place in the west with a 45-37 record. They went 41-25 and finished in third in the west in 2011-12 with Andrew Bynum at center.

Howard appeared to change his mind multiple times late in the signing process, most notably when it was reported he was 50-50 on the decision to join either the Rockets or Lakers because he had second thoughts about giving up the $30 million more that Los Angeles could offer.

Bryant and Gasol don’t seem too torn up about Howard’s decision. Check out Bryant’s Instagram photo below.
