Spending seven years as a cast member on Saturday Night Live, Kristen Wiig has done many an impression during her time. Between mocking celebrities like Bjork, Madonna and Taylor Swift, it’s safe to say it’s an occupational skill of Wiig’s, in fact.
Well, the Bridesmaids star may have put herself a little out of her depth with her Monday evening appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
In the clip, Fallon notes that Wiig was supposed to appear on the show, before teasing an impromptu appearance by NBA great Michael Jordan. Except that Jordan turns out to be Wiig wearing a bald cap and a Bulls No. 23 jersey.
The interview between Fallon and “Jordan” actually goes on for about five minutes, during which time Wiig reveals that she doesn’t know much about the six-time champion, stumbling over such facts as where he went to college and being unable to name some of the other greats Jordan played alongside. Either way, if you’re a fan of the awkward-moment humor Wiig trades in, you’ll probably find this amusing.
