Maybe the lights were just admitting what everyone else already knew and declaring this game over.

With six-tenths of a second remaining and the Jazz holding a healthy 98-69 lead over the Nets in an Orlando Summer League game, the lights decided enough was enough. During a stoppage in play, the lights abruptly switched off, leaving the court darkened for a few minutes.

The lights soon came back on, allowing the Nets to stage the most miraculous comeback in NBA summer league history and win, 99-98. Not really. The score didn’t change and the Jazz improved to 2-1.
