Michael VickMichael Vick is extremely familiar with the condemnation that comes with making bad decisions, so it is no surprise that he empathized with teammate Riley Cooper after the wide receiver made a racial slur that was caught on video.

Cooper was caught on tape saying the ‘N-word’ during an altercation at a Kenny Chesney concert last month, and the video has gone viral across the web since it surfaced Wednesday.

After the video hit online news publications, many people shared their feelings of disgust and animosity via social media. One of those was Vick’s own brother, Marcus. The younger Vick sent a tweet out putting a $1,000 bounty on Cooper, offering the reward to any safety that lays a hard hit on the Eagles wide receiver.

The older Vick approached the situation differently, though, tweeting that his relationship with Cooper is built off of mutual respect, and that he accepts his teammate’s apology.
