Folks, there are just some times when you have to let your words step aside, and let the video speak for itself. This is one of those times.
All we’ll say is that what happened in the video below occurred during Monday night’s game with the Arizona Diamondbacks visiting the New York Mets at Citi Field. The man choosing a bat is Arizona catcher Miguel Montero. As you can see, Montero appears to be choosing his bat based entirely on taste. Suffice to say, that is very bizarre.
For the record, Montero went 0-for-5 on the evening. Check out the video of Montero apparently tasting his bats below.
