SEC Florida Mississippi BasketballOle Miss released a statement on Wednesday, saying Marshall Henderson has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.

The suspension is related to a failed drug test, according to Gary Parrish of CBS Sports. Henderson led Ole Miss to an SEC tournament championship and a berth in the NCAA tournament. He led the conference in scoring with 20.1 points per game.

The Rebels upset No. 5 seed Wisconsin before falling to 13th-seeded La Salle in the Round of 32.

The senior guard served time in jail in 2012 for violating terms of probation after testing positive for drugs and failing to perform community service. He was originally placed on probation after trying to buy marijuana with counterfeit money, according to USA Today.
