Gregg WilliamsGregg Williams was suspended and subsequently released by the Rams last season for his participation in the Saints bounty program. He may have to pay up for his work in a similar system for the Redskins.

The Redskins organization, Williams and former Washington tight end Robert Royal are being sued by former NFL linebacker Barrett Green, according to Gabe Feldman, the director of Tulane’s sports law program. Green’s complaint is that “Redskins coaches directed their players to disregard criminal and civil laws, as well as NFL rules, to intentionally injure opponents,” according to Feldman.

Green suffered a knee injury in 2004, while playing with the Giants. He is suing Royal for battery.
