Ric Flair could be going to jail soon if he doesn’t pay up.
A Mecklenberg, N.C., judge has issued an arrest order for the former professional wrestler, who owes his wife over $32,000 in spousal support, according to the Charlotte Observer. Flair was ordered to pay $4,000 a month to Jacqueline Beems. Flair’s estranged wife filed for legal separation last summer.
Flair has failed to pay the $34,352.51 after two court orders. Flair can avoid jail time if he pays the money he owes.
Flair told the Charlotte Observer that he will pay his wife on Wednesday. He said the delay was caused by his son, Reid Fliehr‘s death. Flair also said he was in the hospital for a month with a blood clot.
Beems needs the money to pay for her car, health insurance and legal fees. Beems was charged with making a harassing phone call on Tuesday after she turned herself in to authorities. Flair says Beems left 50 harassing texts and five voice mails to his girlfriend, Wendy Barlow Kidder.
There aren’t many reasons for Flair to say “Wooo!” right now.
