The Patriots may have gotten the better of the Jets on the field for much of Rex Ryan‘s tenure as head coach, but Ryan is certainly winning this offseason.

The once rotund, always loud-mouthed head coach is taking advantage of his new svelte frame, and he’s not afraid to take some chances, apparently. While Bill Belichick and the Patriots continue to sort out the details of the Aaron Hernandez saga, Ryan is hanging out in Spain trying to avoid being gorged by bulls.

Busted Coverage points out that the Jets coach has spent part of his offseason in Pamplona, Spain, where he’s partaking in the annual Running of the Bulls. A photo of a slender (relatively speaking, at least) Ryan has popped up on Instagram from the streets of Pamplona. A couple of tweets have also surfaced claiming to have seen Ryan at the running as well.
