Wife of Chicago Cubs Outfielder Handles Trade Deadline Day With Bottles of Wine (Photo)

Baseball players who are likely to be dealt at the deadline battle a multitude of emotions about a potentially life-changing move — but they aren’t the only ones affected by the trades.

David DeJesus, an outfielder for the Chicago Cubs, was a name that was floated around in trade rumors throughout the past couple of weeks, but although the Cubs found new homes for many of their starters, DeJesus ended up staying put.

DeJesus’ wife, Kim, knew they could be sent packing at any time, however, so the Chicago native found a way to calm her nerves — thanks to All-Star pitcher Travis Wood — that she may be feeling the effects of tomorrow.
