Nick Saban can’t be too happy, but Rex Ryan must be ecstatic.
Geno Smith was arrested on Saturday night. Only it’s not the Geno Smith you’re probably thinking of.
Smith, a sophomore cornerback at Alabama and not the New York Jets rookie quarterback, was arrested and charged with a DUI late Saturday night, according to Cecil Hurt of the Tuscaloosa News.

The arrest is bad news for Alabama’s defense as Saban and the Tide enter the 2013 season eyeing a third straight national title, but it’s good news for Ryan and the Jets, who will be happy to avoid another Mike Goodson-esque arrest fiasco.
