This will go down as the Summer of the Pool Alley-Oop Dunk, with seemingly every week bringing another batch of creative teenagers concocting new ways to throw down in the pool.
There was the alley-alley-alley-alley-alley-oop that sparked the craze, which was actually preceded last offseason by Jazz center Enes Kanter rocking the rim (er, inner tube). Since then, the entrants have been occasionally death-defying, sometimes disappointing and at times pleasantly surprising.
Take this latest pool dunk, which features a long-distance touchdown pass, rollerblades and a one-handed tip pass.
