Running backs have always had some of the best personalities in pro sports. From the days of Eric Dickerson‘s stylish goggles to Walter Payton‘s “sweet” hairdo and even up through Clinton Portis‘ outrageous outfits, tailbacks tend to be a bit eccentric.
Arian Foster and Marshawn Lynch joined the club in Madden 25‘s new commercial “Running Back sons,” donning some outrageous hairstyles that the late-great Payton would probably gawk at in disgust.
The pair of Pro Bowl backs play their own fictitious fathers, Darian Foster and Marshawn Lynch Sr, in the ad, and have an inescapable addiction to playing Madden. So, they decide to raise their children — Arian and Marshawn — to become NFL stars so they can play with them in future Madden games. The hilarious series of training exercises to follow include car pulls, parachute runs, bear spins and running through burning tires.
