Brent Seabrook has had plenty of success on the ice wearing No. 7 for the Blackhawks, and the defenseman showed just how fond he is of that number on his sweater when he named his first child on Friday.

The 28-year-old and his wife Dayna became proud parents on Aug. 16 to Carter Seven Seabrook. Convincing his wife to name their son after his jersey number when he has two Stanley Cup championships and one gold medal from the 2010 Winter Olympics to his name was probably easier to agree to than George Costanza’s reasoning for the unique name.
