Daniel Nava Reflects on First Days of Fatherhood After Returning to Red Sox (Video)

When Daniel Nava walked into the visitors’ clubhouse at Kauffman Stadium on Thursday, he was doing so for the first time as a father.

The Red Sox placed Nava on paternity leave so he could be present for the birth of his first child, and returning to the team was a bittersweet feeling for the 30-year-old. Nava told NESN’s Jenny Dell during Red Sox GameDay LIVE that it was difficult to leave his wife and baby girl, but that it was also strange watching the Red Sox play from his couch while he was home.

Hear what else Nava had to say in the video above.
