Danny AmendolaFOXBORO, Mass. — After missing practice last week and Thursday night’s game, Danny Amendola returned to the Patriots’ practice field Monday afternoon.

Amendola was out on the main practice field participating in team drills. He did not appear to be hindered by any ailment. Since the Patriots are playing their fourth preseason game on Thursday night, it’s possible that Amendola still will not play even if he’s fully healthy. Starters typically don’t play much in the fourth preseason game.

Jermaine Cunningham also returned to the practice field after weeks of being completely absent with an undisclosed injury. After warmups, he went to the side field to work with Mark Harrison, Rob Gronkowski and Alfonzo Dennard. Gronkowski was jogging and catching passes while working with trainers on the Revolution’s soccer practice field.

Ras-I Dowling, Daniel Fells and Justin Francis were full participants after missing Thursday’s game.
