David Price is excited about college football, to say the least.
The Rays lefty threw a bullpen session before Wednesday’s game against the Angels — while dressed in a full Vanderbilt football uniform. Right down to the helmet and cleat spats. The Murfreesboro, Tenn., native spent three seasons as a Commodore before being drafted by the Rays in the first round of the 2007 MLB draft, and he did a pretty good job of showing his school pride Wednesday night.
