The Red Sox finished a stretch of 17 games in 17 days Sunday in Kansas City with a loss to the Royals. They then boarded a plane and flew to Toronto where they have the day off on Monday before starting a series with the Blue Jays Tuesday. It goes without saying that it was a good chance for the Sox to get away from baseball for a day.

One trio of Red Sox, however, decided to use their day off to get out to the ballpark and take in a game from the other side of the white lines. Dustin Pedroia, Jonny Gomes and Jarrod Saltalamacchia were at Rogers Centre on Monday afternoon for the Blue Jays-Athletics game. They obviously have some pretty good connections, and that was evident by their  seats. The three Sox sat right behind home plate and were easy to spot during the game’s telecast.
