Fans at the ballpark Tuesday night have a chance to set a Guinness World Record while helping a great cause.

Between the top and bottom halves of the fifth inning during the Red Sox-Orioles game on Tuesday night, fans inside Fenway Park will attempt to break the record for “most people sending a text message (SMS) simultaneously.”

The current record stands at 1,070 people, which was set in February.

The park’s Jumbotron will give fans a keyword and number to text that will trigger a $10 gift for The Jimmy Fund. Fans participating must be 18 years or older and must be inside the park.
