As a chef for those less fortunate, Gregg Primo spends his life giving back to his community, and cancer wasn’t going to get in the way of his life’s work.

The 39-year-old has beat cancer twice, which is due in large part to adopting a new attitude after seeing all of the children that were also fighting the disease at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Seeing the young kids was a “culture shock” for Primo, and from that moment on, he decided to accept what had been given to him and fight.

Now cancer-free, Primo has nothing but the utmost gratitude for all that the people at Dana-Farber did for him.
