Kyle Estabrooks and his 4-year-old son, Jace, of Marlborough, Mass., were the winners of NESN’s Calling All Kids Dream Day at the Ballpark Sweepstakes. In June, Kyle submitted a photo of his son playing baseball to NESN.com and was randomly picked as the winner of the contest.
The Estabrooks joined us before the game Thursday night and got to meet NESN’s Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy in the broadcast booth, as well as Tom Caron and Tim Wakefield on the Yawkey Way stage. They also got to watch batting practice on the field and got a tour of the NESN broadcast truck. Jace even got a chance to try his hand at operating the audio board.
