Major League Soccer’s All-Stars poked fun at themselves last week. Jimmy Fallon took his turn Wednesday.

The talk show host featured head shots of six MLS All-Stars — Kyle Beckerman, DeAndre Yedlin, Brad Davis, Mike Magee, Will JohnsonMarco Di Vaio and Patrice Bernier — in an installment of a recurring segment called “Late Night Superlatives” on his show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Fallon played on a traditional American right of passage, the “most likely to …” which appear in many high-school yearbooks, to skewer the photos of the MLS standouts.

Fallon’s good-natured ribbing is yet another sign of soccer’s increasing popularity in the United States. Fallon and the players who made the “We’re Better Than the Best” video have turned the league’s mid-season showcase into a cultural event of sorts.

See Fallon’s take on the MLS All-Stars in the video below.
