LeBron James will soon enough be in the conversation of the greatest NBA players of all time. Right now, though, he’s just being asked to pick the best — and he’s contributing to the Larry Bird–Magic Johnson discussion while he’s at.
James was asked by FOX Sports who the three greatest NBA players of all time are, and he had no trouble saying Michael Jordan right away. The next two, though, elicited a long pause before James finally picked Bird and Julius Erving. James admitted it was hard picking against Johnson somewhat, but he ended up sticking with Bird.
