Michigan State Pulls Off Lateral Pick-Six Against Western Michigan (Video)

Michigan State’s first touchdown of the 2013 season looked like something drawn up on a playground.

With Western Michigan facing a 3rd and 12 from in their own red zone, Broncos quarterback Tyler Van Tubbergen was intercepted by Michigan State’s Jarius Jones. The Spartans linebacker was quickly wrapped up, but he was able to flip the ball to safety Kurtis Drummond before hitting the ground, with Drummond sprinting the final 22 yards untouched for the score.

Drummond secured another spot in the nightly highlight reels just a few minutes later, picking off Van Tubbergen with a leaping, one-handed grab. Check it out below.
