Minor League Baseball Fan Face-Plants Into Wall After Making Sensational Catch (Video)

There are a lot of people who would do a lot of things for a baseball at a game, as was evidenced by a minor league fan recently.

A fan sitting on a grassy section in the outfield stands at a Dayton Dragons-Lake County Captains game went above and beyond to grab a ball. Armed with a glove, the fan chased down a Jorge Martinez home run ball. The fan made a tremendous catch, but he got a face full of concrete and fencing for his efforts. That’s because the catch took him into a wall.

To his credit, though, the guy hung on and made one of the plays of the year both on and off the field.
