Phoenix Suns Unveil New Uniform Set, Including Short-Sleeved Orange Alternates (Photos)

When the Phoenix Suns gave their home court a new, predominantly black paint job, many wondered whether the color would bump the traditional purple out of the team’s repertoire.

Well, have no fear, Suns fans. The team’s brand new uniform set, unveiled Thursday, still includes a heavy dose of purple, as well as a few interesting new additions. Phoenix will sport a short-sleeved look for their alternate jerseys — similar to the unis debuted by Golden State last season — and the shorts for all three sets will feature a funky-looking basketball-sunburst design.
