Albert PujolsThe Angels’ disappointing play on the field wasn’t their only issue last season.

After Torii Hunter had a dugout confrontation with C.J. WilsonAlbert Pujols confronted the outfielder during a team meeting. Hunter had already settled the feud with Wilson, so he snapped back at Pujols. The two almost came to blows, according to CBS Sports.

Check out the series of events below, as told by Scott Miller.

“‘Albert, you’d better get your facts straight,’ a seething Hunter told Pujols.

Pujols said something back, and Hunter jumped him for being a bad teammate and pouting all season whenever he failed to get hits in a game, even in games the Angels won … and now he was going to call others out?

‘Shut up, Torii,’ Pujols snapped.

It was then that Hunter, from across the clubhouse, lost it and charged Pujols. Hawkins and outfielder Vernon Wells had to restrain him.”

Hunter and Pujols eventually settled the dispute and remain friends, despite the 38-year-old outfielder leaving for the Tigers in free agency after last season.
