This isn’t good news for Patriots fans.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady left practice on Wednesday after suffering an apparent left leg injury while attempting a pass to Aaron Dobson, according to multiple reports.

After grabbing his left knee and limping off the field, Brady stretched on the sidelines before returning and completing three straight passes. He then had some consultation with head athletic trainer Jim Whalen, Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels before leaving the field once again under his own power. Brady was hit during 11-on-11s in the joint practice with the Buccaneers.

Brady had his left knee surgically repaired in fall 2008.
