Timberwolves rookie Shabazz Muhammad‘s NBA career got off to an inauspicious this week he was sent home from the NBA’s Rookie Transition Program for bringing a “female guest” to his hotel room after hours.

Clippers guard — and fellow UCLA alum — Matt Barnes thinks that’s, well, “BS.”

Barnes, who has played for eight teams since breaking into the league in 2004, took to Twitter to vent his frustration over Muhammad’s dismissal and chastise the NBA for tarnishing the rookie’s reputation before he has even played a game.
