Tim TebowFOXBORO, Mass. — Riley Cooper has been all the talk around the football world over the past few days, but apparently Tim Tebow hasn’t been watching.

Cooper made headlines on Wednesday when a video of him using some racially insensitive language hit the Internet and spread like wildfire. Cooper has since spoken to his teammates and publicly apologized for the incident. Tebow, who was teammates with Cooper for four seasons at the University of Florida, said on Friday that he hasn’t followed the situation.

“I haven’t seen everything that’s happened,” Tebow said. “[I’ve] been pretty busy. I’m going to wait to comment until I hear what all happened.”

Tebow does have a viable excuse as he’s had a steep learning curve since joining the Patriots in June and has been very busy focusing on his own career since training camp opened up a little over a week ago.
