Tom Brady’s Birthday Presents Opportunity for Patriots Coach Pepper Johnson to Mock Quarterback’s Age (Photo)

Tom Brady is the second-oldest starting quarterback in the NFL, so the Patriots’ signal-caller is no spring chicken. Still, he is not nearly as old as linebackers coach Pepper Johnson claimed in a mocking T-shirt at training camp.

For Brady’s birthday on Saturday, Johnson donned a shirt that read “Happy 40th Birthday Tom” on the field. It was a nice gesture, except Brady is only 36. He has four more years before he hits the big 4-0, but who knows how many of his younger teammates realize that?
